| 説明 | Crossing the Grampian mountains in Summer is a nice scenic journey. In the winter, however, it's different.This is the infamous Cock Bridge to Tomintoul road, which is usually one of the first British roads to close in winter. The coloured poles at the side are so that snowplough drivers can see where the road is, when it's covered in feet of snow.In the day I took this photo it was busy - there are 5 vehicles to be seen ! :-) |
