| 説明 | Brig. Gen. Lisa J. Hou, The Adjutant General of New Jersey and Brig. Gen. Arben Kingji, Commander of the Land Force, Albanian Armed Forces, visited the Soldiers of the New Jersey National Guard’s 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team at Fort Drum, N.Y. on July 16, 2022. More than 2,500 of the brigade’s Soldiers are taking part in the eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise and more than two dozen members of the Albanian Armed Forces have been integrated in the training. The combined field training exercise at Fort Drum, New York is one of more than two dozen annual State Partnership Program military-to-military engagements between New Jersey and Albanian service members, promoting interoperability, technical competence, and people-to-people ties.While at the XCTC training, Hou visited New Jersey National Guard Soldiers from across the brigade to include the 250th Brigade Support Battalion, the 104th Brigade Engineers Battalion, the 2nd Battalion of the 113th Infantry and elements of the 117th Regional Support Group.Arben visited Albanian Soldiers under his command, including those training with the 2nd Battalion of the 113th Infantry, and was able to observe his soldiers firing 81-mm and 120-mm mortars and a TOW missile system. |
