| 説明 | Forget-me-nots growing wild at the Schilitz Audubon Nature Center (SANC) in Bayside, Wisconsin. I believe these are Myosotis scorpioides ("true forget-me-not", or water forget-me-not), though there are several other Myosotis / forget-me-nots that grow in Wisconsin woods and wetlands. Photo taken late June 2018.Myosotis scorpiodes and several similar forget-me-not plants are non-native to North American, and often classified as invasive in the U.S.The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is located on the shores and blufftop next to Lake Michigan, approximately 10 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. |
