| 説明 | Today's park behind the parish church St. Kolumban in Rorschach was once a cemetery. There are still a few tombstones, memorials and this cross. Already several years ago, Jesus was pushed off the pedestal by vandals. Shortly after it was fixed, it happened again. Now it has been left that way to this day and has acquired a new meaning. The reclining cross is considered now a symbol of this park and has been integrated into the celebrations (The Way of turning Misery). The church was built in its present shape and surrounding from 1782-1786. Switzerland, May 11, 2022.*Pray until something happens. |
