| 説明 | Built in 1910, this Classical Revival-style building was designed by Edward Tilton and funded by the Carnegie Foundation to house a branch of the Cleveland Public Library in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood. The triangular-shaped building is located in the middle of the triangular Frank Novak Park, and features curved corners, fluted ionic pilasters and an ionic portico at the front entrance, decorative terra cotta trim, a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet, large windows, a cornice with dentils, cartouches and quoins, and a raised basement. The building continues to serve as a branch of the Cleveland Public Library, and has a well-preserved historic exterior and interior. |
