説明 | Houthalen-HelchterenMore info about the company:The famous junkyard was founded in 1968 by Mr. Jacques Vanlingen under the name of Autokerkhof Jacques Vanlingen. Over the years, the company quickly acquired a well-known name. And with around 10,000 vehicles on site, it quickly became Belgium's largest junkyard. The company was taken over by son Carlo in 1990 under the name of car breakdown Carlo Vanlingen. After this takeover, the company has been modernized.Due to stricter environmental legislation, the company became a car recycling company in 2003 instead of a car demolition company and the name was changed to Autorecycling Carlo Vanlingen nv. During this period, the company has experienced significant growth. The business park is now largely covered with a liquid-tight floor that prevents oil seepage into the subsoil. And the new industrial buildings with a surface area of more than 3,500 m² are specially designed for a smooth flow of the vehicles to be treated. After successfully completing his studies at the IVA in 2012, Carlo's son, Jesse, is working within the company. Now the company processes approximately 6,500 vehicles each year, which equates to 25 vehicles processed every working day. In the future, we want to process approximately 15,000 vehicles per year.We have been working on expanding the company for several years, but this is not possible because our entire business park has become a reservation zone. This is due to the plans for the construction of the new North-South connection. If the government implements these plans, we will be expropriated and we will have to set up our company again at a different location. To date, we still have no clarity about this. |
