| 説明 | Built in the 1890s, this Shingle and Queen Anne-style house was constructed by Alfred B. Robinson, a dry goods merchant, and stands at the corner of Lexington Avenue and 1st Street in Danville. The house features a shingle-clad facade with a hipped roof and two front gables, a palladian attic window and an oxeye attic window, a two-story bay window on the front facade with decorative trim and brackets at the top and a picture window on the first floor, clapboard siding below the second floor, a porch with decorative columns, brackets, and a decorated pediment over the front door, a bay window on the east facade with decorative brackets at the top, and brick chimneys. The house is a contributing structure in the Lexington Avenue-Broadway Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. |
