| 説明 | "Deconstruction" by James Coker at the Santa Fe Complex"Deconstruction" is a large-scale, multichannel video work using footage of the the demolition of Albuquerque's original I-25/I-40 interchange in 2000-2001 to produce a new interpretation of the scene, one that highlights its internal contradictions: human activity as mechanical motion vs. machine anthropomorphism, the weight of the concrete sections being dismantled and the weightlessness of the dust they release, and the noise of the machinery against the silence of the structures.sfcomplex.org/ |
