説明 | I had no idea what this very secure looking entrance led to when I took this photo. The plaque reads 'Aljibe Colorado o dela Saria Jiglo XIV' meaning Colorado Cistern or Saria from the 14th Century. The following I found in a blog about unusual places in Granada. It is located near the top of a hill.Aljibe Colorado or Saria. Colorado cistern. This cistern was built in the 14th century, it is located on the long street of San Cristóbal, forming part of house No. 20. The name may come from having had a scraped red brick arch in its time, following the structure of the cistern of the Threshing that we have already talked about in this blog.It is also known as the Xarea cistern, a term used by Gómez Moreno, although its origin is unknown, although it could be that it refers to the San Cristóbal cistern because the church was built on the Xarea Mosque. It has a capacity of 35 cubic meters. And the ship has dimensions of 4.09 x 2.60 meters and height in its first part of 4.55 meters and in the second of 3.66 meters. The access section measures 2.03 meters by 1.14 and 6.42 meters.
