| 説明 | The Hassan II Mosque of Casablanca, Morocco is the 2nd largest mosque in the world, with a prayer hall that can accommodate 25,000 people. The structure is almost million square feet in size with two-thirds being built over the sea. The minaret of the mosque stands 200 meters (656ft.) high, has a retractable cedar roof and was completed in 1993 with 35,000 craftsman working over a period of 6 years to complete its construction. With carved stucco, zellij tilework, a painted cedar ceiling and marble, onyx and travertine cladding, it is a monument to Moroccan architectural accomplishment. |
