| 説明 | IQ played their traditional London Christmas gig at the 229 venue on Great Portland St on Friday 10/12/21 - two years after their last concert at the Garage in Islington. Quite why they do this in London, which is a total pain to get into on a Winter Friday night, is a mystery, as much of the audience of my acquaintance were from East Anglia and the Home Counties - they might just as well play St Albans City Hall and save us all a lot of time, effort & expense.Still, it was really rather good, with a refreshed set that included The Road of Bones, Frequency, Widows Peak and A missile amongst others. The drummer, right at the back, was all-but invisible, but the tasteful lights, lasers and graphics illuminated the rest of the band, which currently comprises: Peter Nicholls on vocals, Mike Holmes on guitars, Neil Durant behind the keys, Tim Esau on the bass and the invisible drummer - Paul Cook. |
