| 説明 | NEWPORT, R.I (Nov. 19, 2021)A regional fiscal year 2022 Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Pinning Ceremony was held Nov. 19, at Kay Hall in Naval Station Newport. The ceremony officially recognized the promotion of 22 Newport-based CPOs from 12 commands and four honorary chiefs from the Marine Corps, Air Force and German Navy. The newly promoted and honorary CPOs included: Sargent Major Robert Alverez, Oberstabsbootsmann Lars Apitz, Chief Gerald Barr, Gunnery Sargent AnaSharon Beaudet, Chief Travis Briggs, Chief Kyle Butson, Chief Damian Campbell, Senior Master Sargent Jeffrey Cascio, Chief Eric Eng, Chief Jason Evans, Chief Thomas Gordon, Chief Jenne Gutierrez, Chief Stephen Harrell, Chief Anthony Henry, Chief Vanessa Holguin, Chief Katie Maguire, Chief Stephanie Pendergraft, Chief Jamil Punch, Chief Valdivio Reid, Chief Elis Remigio, Chief Nahum Renfrow, Chief Michael Sheremeta, Chief Rick Spells, Chief Gabriel Suarez, Chief Joshua Torres, and Chief Jimmy Williams. The 12 command include: Naval Station Newport, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Office of Naval Intelligence Newport, Officer Training Command Newport, New England Navy Medicine and Readiness Training Command, Senior Enlisted Academy, Maritime Security Squadron EIGHT, Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Mobile Unit 12 Detachment Newport, Navy Operational Support Center Newport, U.S. Naval War College, Surface Warfare Schools Command Newport and the visiting USS Carl M.
