| 説明 | Lt. Col. Jeffrey Roth assumed command of the 1st Battalion 258th Field Artillery Regiment, the New York Army National Guard's only field artillery battalion, from the outgoing commander Lt. Col. Marc Lindemann on Saturday November 6th, 2021, at Camp Smith Training Site, Cortland Manor, NY. The ceremony was presided over by Major General Raymond F Shields Jr., the Adjutant General of New York. The 258th Field Artillery is normally headquartered at the Jamaica Armory in Queens, NY, and has elements in the Bronx, and Harlem, as well as New Windsor. The battalion is now operating at Camp Smith Training Site while the facilities in the Bronx and Jamaica are renovated.
