| 説明 | To the south of Sargans station with a view of the landmark, the Gonzen mountain. There's a general zone for everything here. Material and goods handling, parking spaces for SBB staff and sidings. Sargans is a junction station where three important lines from Zurich, St.Gallen and Chur come together. There are currently twelve pure junction stations with the station building in the wedge in Switzerland. The special thing about Sargans station is that both branches (Zurich St. Gallen) are connected by a large loop. So that the land is not divided unnecessarily, this loop leads along the motorway to Trübbach. Sargans was also a key point during World War II, like the Gotthard and St. Maurice.
