| 説明 | •Anglican Church. St John’s Anglican was opened in 1862, after costing £800 to build. It is built of blue stone with local sandstone quoins and window arches. This fine Gothic church is unusual in that the main entrance is on the southern side (instead of the usual western side). Mellor, the stonemason, considered the stone window surrounds his finest work. The parish hall next to the church opened in 1908. |
