| 説明 | 93/100 This garden is in Altoona, Iowa. I love to take the camera to the gardens a few times during the year and take pictures. I have done this in the spring, summer, and fall. Now, I haven't ever done this in the winter. I believe I must commit to that this winter when there is snow in the garden! Not a true sunflower, Ox-eye Sunflower is found in native tallgrass prairies and at the edge of brushy or wooded areas. Easy to grow and quick to mature, it produces large quantities of large, brilliant orange-yellow flowers up to two inches wide. Heliopsis helianthoides is excellent for clay soil and makes great cut flowers! |
