| 説明 | Butterflies have been a bit thin on my radar this year so far, and the chance of photographing them slimmer still, but this one posed obligingly for me today, opposite Bankfield Park.Online identification guides are a wonderful resource, and they normally narrow things down to a choice of two or three. Not so this time. That fabulous guide at Butterfly Conservation led me very quickly to something which is surely nailed on as pararge aegeria, a Speckled Wood. It certainly lines up well with the reference image! |
