| 説明 | Francesc Canals i Ambrós, was a young clerk in a department store called Century and died at age 26, July 27, 1889It was a good boy who everybody loved and appreciated. He also apparently could predict the future, he predicted his death so early ..When he died without knowing how it started the rumor which said that if he went to pray at his tomb and asked a favor with a lot of faith that was granted. Remember the time I speak, in 1899, a threshold of the twentieth century.The rumor was learned very rapidly in that society. But as it transpired, that even today, in late 2010, nearly there are still people who still believe passionately in the power of that kid.Around his grave in the cemetery of Poble Nou in Section 1 are full of lighted candles, votive offerings hanging from the trees in front, pictures of people, natural flowers and artificial, vases, figurines of the Child Jesus, more pristine, crosses, San Pancrazio, etc ... Niches have left some gaps and they serve as makeshift altar. Devotees of "Santet" believe Francesc Canals, so good in life continues to help those in need. |
