| 説明 | Flowering is common by mid summer and persists into late summer. The highly palatable winterfat is often common along and near roadsides in the sagebrush steppe of the Idaho National Laboratory. This is taken as an indication of the rebounding of native vegetation from former roadside disturbance (green stripping with crested wheatgrass) and possibly pre-1940 overgrazing of this rangeland. This site lies along highway 33 where it merges with Lincoln Blvd, east of Howe Idaho. |
