| 説明 | Had just got onto the floor with the Enigma machines and Bombe, when I saw this model of the GCHQ building in Cheltenham.GCHQ currently stands for Government Communications Headquarters, but at one was the GCCS or GC&CS - Government Code and Cypher School.It was known as GCCS until 1946, when it was renamed as GCHQ. It moved to near Cheltenham in 1951.The GCHQ headquarters in Cheltenham is commonly nicknamed "the doughnut". |
