| 説明 | Built in 1915, this Gothic and Italian Renaissance-style church, designed by C. L. Hildreth for the Immanuel Baptist Church congregation, features a buff brick and terra cotta facade with extensive stained glass windows, a rough-hewn stone base, and a stepped parapet at the center of the principal facade. Standing along Greenup Street at 20th Street, the church is located in the Wallace Woods neighborhood as defined by the City of Covington, Kentucky. However, the building is one of the most significant contributing structures in the Austinburg Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. |
