| 説明 | The 5mm flies were visiting various daisies in the garden, feeding and pollinating.Both male and female were observed. The females were slightly larger and very black with white semi-transparent wings. The males had distinctive marks on their thorax, with yellow-brown colour on the outer margins of their wings. Their genitals were folded under the abdomen.Phasia sp flies belong to the Tachinidae family. Some species are known to predate Hemiptera. There are two generations per year. Photo: Jean and Fred |
