| 説明 | A rare bird in the Southern part of the country, but openly seen in many parts of Northern India. Sighted it during the winter in a place that we least expected it. It prefers open scrub areas and is always in pairs. On this day, we didn't see a pair, just one - maybe the second one didn't make it alive. It was found in a grassland where raptors frequent.The bird frequents a nearby local lake every year around the end of summer, but I could never sight it since I wasn't sure how it looks.
