| 説明 | This photo was taken on my 14th birthday by a news photographer at the News Tower in Rockford, Illinois. I am holding my first camera, an Ansco Rediflex twin-lens reflex. It took square photos with 120 film. My father had worked for the Rockford Register-Republic until 1945. I do not rememeber why I was in Rockford (probably with my father). Barney Thompson, the editor, had a personal front-page column called "Column Left," and he wrote about my visit to the News Tower in the next day's edition. |
