Planted in 2019.American Conifer Society: Picea orientalis 'Spring Frost' is a broad-upright growing selection of Oriental spruce which, in the spring, will flush with lemon yellow new foliage that matures to dark green by summer. The plant does not appear to be affected by full sun. After 10 years of growth, a specimen will be considered to be mature at 6 feet (2 m) tall and 4 feet (60 cm) wide.The origin of the cultivar is unknown at this time, but appears to have been introduced to the nursery trade by Larry Stanley & Sons nursery, Boring, Oregon.Stanley & Sons Nursery: A dwarf, upright Oriental Spruce that has lemon-yellow new growth in spring.
