It is the social center for young men, and particularly for strangers in the city. With its Parlor, its Piano, its Reading Rooms, its Game Rooms, its Lavatories it offers to young men a welcome resort where they can drop in at any time and feel at ease.Many Boarding Houses in Belleville are not equipped with proper Bath-room facilities. The Y.M.C.A. supplies this need with the Shower Baths, which cleanse, refresh and invigorate the body as a tub or sponge bath cannot. The Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium is in charge of an expert instructor who will aid you in keeping your body strong and healthy.Join the Y.M.C.A., Belleville, Ont.The Young Men's Christian Association is in existence FOR YOU and all other young men in this city. Get in the Game. Go there and make yourself at home with the other fellows. Many of them are strangers like yourself - BE FRIENDLY. While the religious element is never obtrusive, Bible Classes and Prayer Meetings are held regularly, and special services are held every Sunday afternoon and evening except during the summer months, and all young men are invited to participate in these services.For Students who are in the city for only a few months a special membership rate of $2.00 is offered. This special $2.00 membership entitles the holder to all the privileges of the Association (Gymnasium, Baths, etc.) while he is in the city as a student.
