| 説明 | Afghan National Army soldiers conduct basic soldiering skills at the Kabul Military Training Center (KMTC) facility in Kabul, Afghanistan, 3 February 2009.KMTC is a training facility for Afghan soldiers of all levels. The centre trains soldiers, Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Officers in a number of areas including basic and advanced soldier skills, computer and language training, and other skills required of a professional military. A further aim of the training is to provide the knowledge and skills required for interoperability with their American and NATO/ISAF allies. Coalition soldiers help train the instructors at KMTC through the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A) operating out of Kabul, however the skills learned following the training at this facility is taught by fellow Afghan soldiers. It is the Afghan National Army’s goal to double its strength to 134,000 personnel enabling themselves to achieve their own security and stability. |
