| 説明 | Note the bare titanium inside the landing gear door, and the aluminum added to the tire rubber to reflect heat away from the rubber in cruising flight. The SR-71 was made of titanium because it couldn't have flown as fast if made from aluminum- heating from just the speed through the air would have weakened aluminum too much.As to the 3 wheel/3 tire design- more surface area for the tires, lower loading, softer landing.This plane has moved since I took the picture- I can't see it on the aerial photo- might be in a shelter or one of the buildings. So I've put the location mark in front of the building I think this was in front of when I took the picture.94_7_3 |
