| 説明 | This is not a photo I took, it is a small portion of someone else's photo which I have cropped and processed to illustrate a feature on the Porsche 911 GT1, for model builders. I believe this is "fair use" of copyrighted material, but it isn't mine and I have no ownership of it.The driver's compartment is to the right, the throttle cable comes off the accelerator pedal, passes through the firewall and threads into the engine. Its clamped to a bracket attached to the furthest forward cylinder on the starboard (right) side. The cable is more or less straight, the pedal pushes forward and that pulls the cable, all the way back to the end here which pulls on the arm attacked to the throttle bar. The pull rotates the throttle bar clockwise (from the starboard side of the car, looking in). Across the top of the engine, the throttle bar has a pair of arms between cylinder 3 and 2, left to right, and between cylinder 6 and 5. The idle position of the arms is 1:00 or 1:30, pointing forward. Turning the arm counter clockwise twists the arms downward, pulling down a linkage at each end that pulls to a similar arm on the intake manifold butterfly axles. Push the pedal, the butterfly valves open.Engine management or sensor cable connections are clipped to little aluminum shelves bolted to the throttle butterflies. One cable end probably goes into the car's wiring harness, one is part of the engine. Note the fuel injector spritzer cables in front of each intake, with yellow id stickers. |
