| 説明 | My heart beats faster when I see or hear one - I love trains.My brother, step mother and I went for a day trip to Baltimore (Johns Hopkins) via train. Sadly, I have not been on an Amtrak train in over 30 years. It broke my heart a bit to see the train cars so empty. We had Business Class tickets, because they were cheap enough, so why not. And wow, the seats were so roomy! I've never been Business or First Class anywhere.We cruised at 70mph most of the way, peaked at 123mph and cruised at 120mph for a good portion of the trip as well. Of course I imagine people on the Japanese "Bullet Train" would laugh at us, but was still quite happy and impressed with the train, the trip and everything about it. |
