| 説明 | Large station in Scotland with four main lines converging. Trains to and from Pitlochry, Aviemore and Inverness can use platform 7 on the extreme left. Then platforms 6 and 5 are for terminating trains from either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Next is Platform 4 which is the longest platform in the UK being able to accomodate 19 coaches, this platform is similar in use to platform 7. Next right after platform 4 is number 3 which is normally used for emergencies, then on the extreme right we have the two Dundee platforms on the curve. The present layout has been in situ since 1868. The first station in the city was Glasgow Road opened in 1848. |
