説明 | The yellow flowers are Potentilla-like except for the hairy ovaries and tailed (long-styled) achenes. The fruiting head is distinctive because of the conical receptacle bearing short-tailed achenes with a distal twist in the tail (style) that upon breaking becomes a hook. The lower portion of the style is distinctively glandular in this species. This site occurs in a wetlands along Sourdough trail in Grafs Park, Bozeman, Montana. |
