| 説明 | We ventured out to do some shopping today on this fine October day and decided to stop at Halibuts on NE Alberta in the Alberta arts distict. A friend recommended the locale to us. We're big fans of fish and chips, so i was doubly excited. They offer numerous types of fish to go with your chips- Cod, Halibut, Salmon, Southern Catfish, amd today, Sturgeon. We chose cod to stick with tradition and what we're used too. One thing to note here, I asked the guy behind the counter about Sturgeon and his answer was something like "i really don't know fish, so I can't answer you......" I should have listened closer.The food was fine, yet both of us felt it was a little greasy. They don't serve beer which was disappointing for dieselboi on saturday afternoon. The tarter sauce was self serve and the coleslaw was abou 2/3 of a cup. The prices were pretty high, $13 for halibut fish and chips. Oh, and they had 4 or 5 ceiling fans running at full boar, so i felt like i was sitting in a fridge.In the end, i did like the fish and the place was clean, but there were too many other items that were a little off that soured the experience.
