| 説明 | A view of part of the Saddle Road from McCrae’s Bush, Ashhurst. I like how the patchy light highlights the undulating land.With the Manawatu Gorge Road closed, this is an alternative route to Hawkes Bay, going from Ashhurst to Woodville. The road climbs up through the Ruahine wind farm and offers spectacular views. Besides the wind farms there are fine easterly views over patchwork farmland to the silvery Tasman Sea and, to the west, of the forests and valleys of the Wairarapa. |
