| 説明 | This magnificent parish church, amongst the largest in the country, seen on a lovely July day in 2020. This is a stunning Priory church, 311ft long and the vaulting 60ft high, thus it ranks amongst the Cathedrals in this country in size and grandeur. This view shows the awesome Norman nave looking west, towards the large Great West Window. The vaulting is not medieval, but dates from the early 1800s, and hides a splendid timber roof. |
