| 説明 | Alexanderplatz early 1900s, before the 1928 re-formation. PostcardThe statue of Berolina , behind Tram 64 en route to Zoo station, was moved and replaced in front of the Alexanderhaus. The tall spired Georgenkirche, not long built, was damaged in WW2 and demolished in 1949. The classical Pfaff piano factory building "Alexanderstrasse 45" was demolished by the early 1930s, perhaps for the creation of the roundabout, and the plot left vacant.
