| 説明 | My model of a Focke Wulf Fw190A-8/R11 on nachtjager duties with 1 Staffel NJGr10, piloted by Oberfeldwebel Gunter Migg based at Werneuchen, Winter 1944-45. It is fitted with Rustsatz 11 field conversion set of FuG 218 Neptun radar with wing aerials (port side shown), heated cockpit, autopilot and exhaust shields for night and all weather fighting. It had a ETC501 fuselage rack for a 66 gll drop tank as standard. The aircraft is in a variation of the standard mid-war RLM74/75/76 camouflage, presumably to make it more suitable for a night fighter: undersurfaces and entire fuselage except upper forward part RLM76 Light Grey Blue, upper forward part of fuselage RLM Grey Violet, upper surfaces of wings and tailplane RLM75 Dark Grey Green and RLM75 Grey Violet. It also has a black slash on the lower forward fuselage to make exhaust stains less unsightly. Rather a luxary! |
