| 説明 | Apple's Photos app slowly introduces new features. This foto on Flickr is a short video clip that repeats on other media, but not on Flickr. It's too bad Flickr doesn't accept Gifs.Interesting aspects of this that caught my attention:* It is a delightful short little video. It uses an optional feature in iPhones called Live. If I select Live before the shooting, the iPhone camera records some frames before and after the photo that is captured when I press the shutter button.The main purpose, I thought, is to enable one to select the best shot in an action scene. Now I see it has other delightful uses as well.** There's more. The novel feature that captured my attention is that Apple's selection algorithm selected this clip as recommended for Chic. Or something like that. It is a delightful sequence, and the selection (AI or artificial intelligence) algorithm of photos or gifs to recommend to me is pretty good, I think. I wonder how it compares to the Flickr algorithm for Interestingness or something like that. |
