| 説明 | Paeonia 'Illini Warrior' (Glasscock -Falk, 1955) 2020 photo - Common Name: (2-SL-R) Hybrid herbaceous Peony, Mature size: 42/50in, Tall, single, brilliant red petals, cupped, golden stamen boss, red mottled stems, fragrant, early bloomer, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Month 5c, In Garden Bed G3 for 13.6 YEARS (Wild0). Planted in 2006.Bred by Lyman D. Glasscock (1875-1972) Elmwood, Illinois. Parentage unknown. Elmwood is not far from the "Fighting Illini" athletic teams of the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, thus the name of this hybrid. This is one of the tallest peonies that I own and even with good support, I have occasional wind damage. Scapes rise above the foliage about 8 inches.
