| 説明 | Picture shows: Hamish complaining that the canoe is 'a bit tippy', while David performs safety boat duty. The Ottersports Tourer canoe\kayak had been built by David in the garage at Waterman's Way, Wargrave in circa 1971, in time for a Christmas day launch in the river Thames. David, keen to show the canoe was as stable as a cross-channel ferry, hopped in, took one stroke with the paddle and instantly capsized. The water was apparently a bit cold... We all went home for a cuppa. |
