| 説明 | Another selfie at Khao Phing Kan, known more popularly as James Bond Island. The 1974 Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun was sho here- this island is part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park, notes about which appeared earlier in this album. Of course the piece de resistance of this island is a pillar shaped rock, which will get to in a few moments. (see subsequent photos later in this album). The James Bond Island characterized by its very unusual shape and lies in Phang Nga Bay North East of Phuket. The pillar rock I just mentioned is Koh Tapu which means nail island, due to it's unusual shape- we will get there in a moment, as I just mentioned. My memories of the movie are a bit faith as it was quite a long time ago, but the caves behind me were part of the evil guy (in the film) Scaramanga's hideout.
