| 説明 | On the banana boat at Ko Hong. We are in the middle of Phang Nga Bay where we have stopped here at Ko Hong for a spot of kayaking. A swarm of boatmen in rubber canoes circle your speedboat as soon as it arrives and I have just had an incredibly unnerving transfer from my speedboat onto a very shaky and unstable rubber kayak and have managed find my bearings and sit down without tumbling into the sea. The take two pax per boat, three including the boatman and I have yet another uncomfortable canoe ride on this trip (earlier ones were in Nepal- see my Chitwan and Pohkara albums) sitting almost on the floor of the boat with my knees touching my chin. I am on the Ao Phang Nga National Park speedboat tour, known more commonly as the James Bond Islands tour just off Phuket, Thailand. (Phuket, Thailand, Oct/ Nov. 2019) |
