説明 | A flower with parts in 5's (and fewer) is common to the genus Polygonum, but the base of the flower is often three sided, reflecting the 3-angled ovary/fruit within. This obligate wetland species is an aquatic in that the leaves are often floating on the surface of still or slow moving water. The leaves are all born from along the stems rather than basally. This site lies along Spring Creek north of Burke Park near Sculpture Park, Bozeman, Montana. |
