| 説明 | The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Headquarters has received a mission assignment from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for planning and site assessments of alternate-care-sites in California in response to #COVID19.Engineers and emergency management specialists with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District along with local officials were in Los Angeles County March 30. The team conducted a site assessment of a building in the county for potential use as an alternate-care-site, should the need arise, for additional medical facilities in the county.Under the planning mission assignment, USACE Team Leaders are providing planning and assessments for the possible conversion of existing buildings into alternate-care-facilities.The LA District is assisting the state and FEMA’s efforts with initial facility assessments at several Southern California locations.
