| 説明 | The Narayani river seen from the metal suspension bridge you saw in the previous picture. This is just beyond a row of shacks which brew the local moonshine- a local millet based tipple called Raksi. We have made a brief stop here on the long drive from Kathmandu to the bush in Chitwan, Nepal, after my good guide assured me that he will not touch the stuff as he has to drive me all the way to Chitwan. Well, we did not find any moonshine for me either- they had completely sold out- so we decided to take a couple of selfies on the bridge beyond the moonshine breweries before we move on. And here is where I dropped my iPhone and completely shattered the screen protector. Ouch! My kind guide was alarmed as he knows how expensive the iPhone is and he thought the screen of the phone had cracked. Well, fortunately not. Both of us were much relieved when I gingerly peeled off the shattered protector to reveal a shine screen which was all sparkling (it was under the protector after all!) and as good as new. I eventually managed to get a makeshift protector later on down the road and eventually a good edge to edge one later in Pokhara a couple of days later, thank goodness.But I digress- let's get on with our drive to Chitwan, shall we?
