| 説明 | bignose monkeyflower, Erythranthe nasuta, California, White Mountains, Falls Canyon, Hammil Valley - Owens Valley watershed, elevation 1858 m (6095 ft).This is one of the more distinctive species in the Erythranthe guttata complex (section Simiolus), characterized by its much smaller autogamous flowers, square stems, and elongate calyx lobe hooked somewhat downward like a beak. The species is widespread in wet places throughout much of western North America, up to middle elevations in the mountains. |
