| 説明 | …I go for a pint. I was crushed when they cancelled St. Patrick’s Day across the world. The “public affairs” part of my brain understood completely and agreed whole heartedly. The Guinness drinking, Irish song singing part of the brain wasn’t so understanding. I’ve been meaning to seek out this “Irish” pub in Rotterdam (it’s actually in Vlaardingen which is nearby) so this seemed like a good time to check it out. It’s certainly not crowded.It’s quite appropriate, really. The last time I was involved in a “lock down” was during 9/11. I was stuck in New Jersey when they shut all the bridges so I went to a pub and watched the whole thing on TV. Plus ça change and all that. |
