| 説明 | Still more fabulous works of art in the Sundari chowk courtyard of the Patan museum in the Lalitpur/ Patan Durbar square, Nepal. I say it is bronze, my guide assures me that this is stone, just painted like brass. But whatever, it is a fabulous work of art. I'm not sure which Hindu god this statue represents, it's probably just a celestial being. Being the former Royal palace, the Patan museum boasts of several exquisite carvings, artifacts, bas reliefs and works of art, most of which are located here in the Sundari chowk courtyard or in the museum upstairs. (see previous pictures earlier in this album).
