| 説明 | Gaura parviflora, velvetweed, is a tall annual that in winter condition shows persistent lignescent stems, which appear almost woody. Distinctively long hirsute hairs remain on the main stems and branches. The tall stature, hirsute stems and branches, and nutlet-like fruits are diagnostic of this species. This site occurs along the trail of the Rio Grande bosque, south of the Rio Grande Nature Center, Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. |
