| 説明 | Notes: a man stands in front of a hay shed holding a small terrier dog. Beside him stands a small boy. The boy wears a dark felt hat with a band, a long sleeve shirt with a falling collar, knee length shorts and appears to be without shoes. The man has a dark moustache and wears a straw boater with a wide band, a dark vest over a white long sleeve shirt, gaberdine trousers and leather boots. On the left is some post and rail fencing with loose split pickets and a small shed. The massive hay shed is built from eight squared off posts, each about 20 feet high with two spaced mortises cut into the sides, the roof is sawn timber with corrugated iron. The smaller internal stack has lengths of timber holding down more corrugated iron. The large free standing rectangular hay stack on the right has a curved top of loose thatching for weather protection. A board with lettering sits in front of the small stack at ground level.Location: somewhere on the Coxs river, location approximateFormat: from a glass negative, 5" x 4", Ilford Empress Plate.
